Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Dreasy is operated by Reardon Bros. LLC, an Indiana company. This policy covers dreasy.com.

2. What we collect

If you browse deals: you do not need an account. Your age confirmation is saved in your own browser. If you allow location access, your browser shares your location so the map can show deals near you. We use it for that purpose and do not keep it.

If you report a deal: we keep the reason you chose and any comment you write. To stop duplicate reports, we also keep a scrambled code based on your network address and a random ID saved in your browser. We cannot turn that code back into your network address.

If you claim or register a business: we collect your name, email address, phone number, your role at the business, the business details you give us, and any notes you add. If you are approved, you set a password, which is stored in scrambled form by our sign-in provider. We never see it.

Visit counts: we count visits to Dreasy anonymously to see how people find and use it. For each visit we record the pages viewed, actions such as searches, bars opened and filters used, the website or campaign link you arrived from, and whether you are on a phone or computer. A random ID ties one visit together and is forgotten when you close the tab. We do not record your network address or anything that identifies you. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies.

Automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical details such as network address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

3. How we use it

We use this information to run Dreasy: to show deals, review and verify business claims and registrations, manage business accounts, look into reported deals, send service emails such as approvals, password links, and report notices, and to prevent spam and abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not send marketing email.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with the service providers that help us run Dreasy, only as needed for that purpose: website hosting and visit analytics, database and sign-in, email delivery, bot protection (hCaptcha), map tiles, and address lookup.

Business details that you submit for a listing, such as the venue name, address, phone number, hours, and deals, are shown publicly on Dreasy. Your personal name, email, and login details are not.

We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of Dreasy and its users, or as part of a sale or merger of the business.

5. Cookies and browser storage

Dreasy uses a small amount of browser storage to remember your age confirmation, to limit duplicate reports, and to hold the random visit ID described above for as long as the tab is open. Business accounts use a cookie to keep you signed in.

Forms protected by hCaptcha load that service, which may set its own cookies and collect device information to tell people from bots. hCaptcha’s own privacy policy applies to that.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. How long we keep it

We keep business account, claim, and registration records for as long as the account or listing is active, and afterward as needed for our records and to resolve disputes. We keep reports for as long as they are useful for keeping listings accurate. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

7. Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm who you are first.

You can turn off location access in your browser at any time. Dreasy still works without it.

8. Age

Dreasy is for people aged 21 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No website can promise perfect security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
